Rennie Lake Association Membership Application

for the 2023 Membership Year (August 2023 to July 2024)

The Rennie Lake Association (RLA) was incorporated on May 3, 2021, as a non-profit corporation for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing the quality of Rennie Lake. We believe that water quality is critical to sustaining a healthy lake, and is a primary driver of lakeshore property values.  We aim to be the recognized leader in evidence-based strategies for protecting Rennie Lake and its watershed while advancing environmental education, sustainable policies, and quality of life. The RLA is dedicated to preserving and protecting the water quality, ecosystem services, and quality of life in Rennie Lake and its watershed through education, leadership and collaboration.

Membership in the RLA is voluntary and open to all riparian (lakeshore) property owners on Rennie Lake.  The RLA has no compulsory powers over its members and neighbors, and is guided by the philosophy that individual rights are to be enjoyed and protected so long as they do not trespass on the rights of others. The RLA is run by a Board of Directors and Officers elected annually by the Members. Please read the By-Laws of the Rennie Lake Association for further information.

By joining the Rennie Lake Association today, you will be helping us continue our important work for the Rennie Lake community, which includes:

  • A Lake Monitoring Program involving regular water quality sampling, water clarity testing and an Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) watch program.

  • A website where you will be able to find information on actions you can take to improve water quality, prevent AIS, improve fish and wildlife habitat, become aware of current events impacting our lake, connect with your neighbors and learn fun facts about our lake’s history.

  • A newsletter informing members of upcoming events and lake monitoring results.

  • Communication with State and local units of government on ordinances or rules and regulations that may impact the Rennie Lake community.

The Rennie Lake Association is a fully qualified 501(c)(3) non‐profit organization which means your annual dues are deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

The protection, preservation and continued improvement of the beautiful and unique Rennie Lake and its watershed is a shared responsibility of all lakeshore property owners. Please consider helping us by joining the Rennie Lake Association today.
